4.1    Organizes and coordinates all activities associated with maintaining Drilling Services
equipment with multiple PGL’s
4.2    Responsible for ensuring the duties carried out within the R&M facility are performed in a
safe, efficient and effective manner.

R&M Strategy and other Business Plans directed by the organization within the facility.

corrosion engineer - unconventional resources

Position Description

Saudi Aramco, long known for its leadership in oil exploration, production, and refining, is seeking experienced professionals to join our growing Unconventional Resources (UR) program. We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Corrosion Engineer.

As the successful candidate you will join UR Operations, which is responsible for operating all surface facilities, including field wells and processing facilities. The UR Operations team will operate the well manifolds, provide field services, maintain facilities, and reduce equipment downtime. The team will also perform preventive maintenance activities and provide maintenance services in addition to providing all the technical engineering and inspection activities.
Expansion of the team is required to meet the significant increases in operation activity levels. By the end of 2017 it is estimated there will be more than 270 km of pipelines, 520 km of flowlines, and five processing facilities scattered in different geographical locations.

As the successful candidate, you will lead the design review, follow the construction phase, and lead the commissioning and testing activities for the new shale gas facilities.

Minimum Requirements

You will have a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or any other relevant engineering degree. An advanced degree is preferred. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) license or registration will be desirable but is not essential. A NACE certificate is preferred.

You will have minimum of 10 years of corrosion engineering experience preferably in shale gas facilities. You will also have knowledge of modular skid mounted process units. You will have a combination of experience in engineering consulting as well as owner operating facilities.

As a subject matter expert you will have extensive knowledge of corrosion management and be familiar with ASME, API, WRC and other industry codes applicable to the oil and gas industry. You will be experienced in material specifications/selection, welding procedures/specifications, cathodic protection, protective coating, NDT, and water management as well as metallic and nonmetallic materials.

You will also have extensive experience and demonstrated success in the resolution of materials and welding issues encountered in the oil and gas industry, and sour and non-sour facilities with varying compositions of water, CO2, and H2S.
