Description:
Leidos is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer/Geologist to support soil and groundwater monitoring, investigation 

Qualifications:
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Geology or related Science and 0-2 yrs experience. 

Required Skills: 
• Must be willing to travel overnight during the work week 
• Ability to work in outdoor environments during all seasons of the year. 
• Good communication skills 
• Valid Driver’s license. 
• Attention to detail and ability to conduct work and record results in scientifically valid manner to exacting detail. 
Desired Skills: 

• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint).

The staff member will work closely with senior project managers/geologists to support monitoring and remedial investigation programs. This will include activities such as soil sampling, groundwater sampling, monitoring well installations, remedial system operation and maintenance, and oversight of subcontractors. Staff will also support the preparation of technical work plans, reports, and scientific analyses of data resulting from field operations.
