PROJECT ENGINEER
Location: Azerbaijan
Project Engineer Job Description:
Providing support to the construction works in accordance with HSE and quality requirements, and in line with the schedule and budget.
* Facilitating the Brownfield scope delivery with technical document review process and contractor and Operations interfaces.
* Management/coordination responsibilities in Engineering, Procurement, Vendor support and Construction.
* Participating in contract management and coordination.
* Participating in project management to ensure control of risk, change, cost and schedule.
* Liaising with multi discipline /multi ethnic teams in an efficient and professional manner.
* Being flexible in work locations and able to visit sites as required.
* Please note: Role may eventually be site based and rotational.
Project Engineer Job Requirements:
Essential:
* University Degree in Engineering (alternative qualifications can be considered with relevant experience).
* Minimum 5 years experience in Oil and Gas Construction involving:
- Ability to participate in meetings.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work in large group of Project personnel.
- Ability to visit office accommodation and porta-cabins of Vendors.
- Ability to work with personnel at all levels.
- Familiarity with International Standards.
- Familiarity with risk management.
- Familiarity with Project Planning and performance management of contractors.
Desirable:
* 10 years' experience of Construction and or Engineering projects.
* Experience in the Republic of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and/or Former Soviet Union.
* Health and safety management experience.
* Experience with project management systems, permit to work system and gate process.
