JOB DESCRIPTION
4.1    Organizes and coordinates all activities associated with maintaining Drilling Services
equipment with multiple PGL’s
4.2    Responsible for ensuring the duties carried out within the R&M facility are performed in a
safe, efficient and effective manner.
4.3    Responsible for the effective tactical implementation and sustainability of the Global
R&M Strategy and other Business Plans directed by the organization within the facility.
4.4    Drives improved performance at a location level using OEPS, technical, program and
people systems.
4.5    Ensures adequate resources are planned and executed such as head count, facility
infrastructure & R&M support equipment which are aligned to support current & future operational business needs.
4.6    Assists in the development of all plant personnel (technical and support) to include
mentoring, competencies and succession planning. Coaches, counsels, and administers disciplinary actions when appropriate.
4.7    Develops and manages facility budgets, forecasts and labor burden rates.
4.8    Monitors cost trends for overall facility running costs & ensures accuracy of maintenance
costs are captured against appropriate maintenance work orders.
4.9    Develop and implement key facility KPI’s aligned to Global R&M objectives and ensure
they are effectively communicated to all facility employees.
4.10 Established clear and effective communication within the Drilling Services team through local SQDC boards, meetings & daily tool box meetings for all personnel.
4.11 Ensures an effective preventative maintenance program is established for all facility support equipment (e.g. OH cranes, BOM’s, calibration equipment, rack inspections, facility repairs, etc)
4.12 Works to integrate initiatives with other continuous improvement objectives (i.e., Reliability, HSE, Lean, Six sigma) finding synergies, overlaps, duplicates and resolving conflicts.
4.13 Responsible for internal audits and accident investigation as directed by corporate and the OEPS. Will support all external customer audits.
4.14 Will actively participate in monthly and quarterly reviews to KPI data, review of high impact R&M incidents and other key metrics assigned by the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledgeable in the use and integration of predictive and preventive maintenance.
Advanced computer skills, including office platforms and database software such as SAP or JD Edwards.
Experience in Quality & HSE related Management Systems compliant to industry standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, API Q2) are desired.
The following professional certifications are not required but any of the following:
CMRP, CRE, CQE, are desired.
