Well Planning Software Application Developer
Future position
Act as technical expert, leading, developing and maintaining Weatherford Well Planning Software (5D) for use in directional drilling projects. Support and/or install 5D software applications. Lead testing process, in conjunction with R&D group, through test review, analysis and test witnessing. Grant permission to release new versions of 5D for commercial use. Design and implement new 5D application code, including modifications and updates to built-in anti-collision module. Analyze complex algorithmic code. Re-engineer code for use in modern engineering applications. Play a full role in software development lifecycle for engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements: B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering and seven years’ experience as an operational Well Planner/Designer.
